Abstract | Traditional work environments have undergone tremendous change as a result of the move to remote work, which has raised serious concerns about how it may affect employees' work-life balance. This essay examines the complex effects of working remotely on boundaries, productivity, and general well-being. The study investigates the ways in which flexibility, autonomy, and digital connectivity influence both favorable and unfavorable results, drawing on surveys, case studies, and current literature. Although working remotely gives you more control over your daily routine and eases the burden of traveling, it can also make it harder to distinguish between work and personal life, which can result in fatigue and less social engagement. The results emphasize the value of proactive boundary-setting, transparent communication, and organizational support in fostering a positive work-life balance in distant environments. Employers and legislators looking to maximize remote work procedures in the post-pandemic environment can benefit from the insights this study offers. |
