Abstract | This research paper explores the emerging role and impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in teacher education. As AI continues to transform various sectors, its potential to revolutionize teacher preparation and professional development is becoming increasingly evident. This study examines the current applications of AI in teacher education, its benefits and challenges, and its potential future implications. Through a comprehensive literature review and analysis of existing AI-powered educational tools, we investigate how AI is reshaping curriculum design, personalized learning, assessment methods, and pedagogical practices in teacher education programs. The paper also discusses ethical considerations and the need for developing AI literacy among future educators. Our findings suggest that while AI offers significant opportunities to enhance teacher education, it also presents challenges that need to be carefully addressed to ensure its effective and responsible integration. |
