Abstract The teaching profession has experienced significant disruption due to the rise of various social platforms and technological advancements during the pandemic. Ensuring employee satisfaction has become a top priority for many companies, prompting them to implement various initiatives that focus on empowering their workforce and recognizing the importance of human resources. While some employees express dissatisfaction with actions of the management. Unions are working to address these issues. In certain organizations, training and development programs are offered to help employees adapt to a changing environment, contributing to increased job satisfaction over time.
In this context, the present research aims to examine the effect of employee empowerment strategies on job satisfaction among the teachers of the private Universities in Punjab. This is a descriptive study, utilizing 100 questionnaires based on a five-point Likert Scale. Only fully completed questionnaires were considered for drawing generalizations. Several statistical techniques, such as Correlation, Regression analysis and ANOVA, were employed to draw conclusions. To verify the reliability of the data, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated, resulting in a value of 0.901, which is considered acceptable. SPSS software was used for analysis. The findings of the study reveal that employee empowerment strategies have a significant impact on job satisfaction, with a correlation coefficient of 0.541 between the two variables. This correlation is significant at the 0.01 level. The value of R = 0.541 indicates a strong correlation, while R Square = 0.293 suggests a moderate correlation between the dependent and independent variables.
