Abstract	This study investigates the environmental and economic implications of implementing waste segregation programmes in hospital settings. Utilizing a cross-sectional research design and survey-based data collection, the paper evaluates whether structured segregation protocols lead to measurable reductions in environmental harm and promote cost savings in healthcare waste management. Findings suggest that hospitals with segregation systems show greater resource efficiency and reduced ecological footprint, validating the case for wider adoption of such practices.
