JOB SATISFACTION OF POST GRADUATE TEACHERS IN RELATION TO THEIR ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE

Abstract | Education is a fundamental pillar of human development, enveloping a broad range of activities and processes aimed at acquiring knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes. Education is not only about intellectual growth; it also plays an essential role in personal and social development. The positive and negative feelings of workers have about their jobs are combined to form job satisfaction. Individual performance by the employees will eventually result in achieving the goals without obstacles. Organizational Climate is often defined as the total of the organizational experiences of the employees and the authorities concerning the organizational culture. The investigator adopted the normative survey method for the present study. The research work has been undertaken to study the job satisfaction of post graduate teachers in Chennai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, and Vellore districts in the state of Tamil Nadu. The sample of the study consists of 800 post graduate teachers taken randomly from different categories of government, government-aided, and private higher secondary schools. The researcher applied Descriptive Statistics, Differential analysis (‘t’ test, F-Test), and Correlation Analysis. |
