Abstract | Emotional intelligence has been a topic, which revolves around a lot of controversy. Many authors have their own viewpoint of explaining, their own definition of EI. However, it has been most researched area in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences. As it covers emotions, cognitive process, it is also included in the field of psychology. EI can be considered now-a-days, as an own subject matter, as is it not only confined to any specific domain, rather, it spread its roots even to every domain of human life, wherever, emotions play an important role. To understand the nature of an individual, it is quite essential that we must understand how that person manages and control his or her emotions in the given circumstances. This paper, is therefore, an attempt to understand the emotions, at every step of human intelligence. The study includes the pioneering work undertaken by various researchers, which can form the basis for corporate as well as academic excellence. |
