Abstract | In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, the traditional pathways to entrepreneurship are being redefined by a new generation of tech-savvy teenagers. Teen entrepreneurship is undergoing a transformative shift in the digital age. High school students worldwide are launching and managing successful businesses from their homes, leveraging the internet as a powerful enabler. This paper examines how digital tools, social media platforms, and emerging online marketplaces have empowered a new generation of teen entrepreneurs to innovate, scale, and sustain ventures at an unprecedented pace. Drawing on a combination of literature review, case studies, and primary data gathered through surveys and interviews, the study investigates the motivations, business models, tools, and challenges encountered by teenage entrepreneurs. The study explores the key motivations driving these young founders, the diverse business models they adopt, and the unique challenges they encounter, including regulatory constraints, limited access to capital, and balancing academics with enterprises. The findings illuminate how Generation Z is redefining entrepreneurship with creativity, digital fluency, and a strong sense of purpose. In doing so, the paper contributes to a broader understanding of youth-driven economic participation and the evolving landscape of online business in the 21st century. |
