Abstract | This study examines how fiscal policies affect the advancement and uptake of cloud computing technologies, paying special attention to the ways in which these policies interact with data privacy laws. Tax incentives, subsidies, and other fiscal tools have been crucial in influencing the dynamics of the cloud computing industry as it becomes more and more integrated into government services and company operations. At the same time, changing data privacy laws alter market dynamics and add additional expenses to compliance. This study examines the opposing dynamics of data legislation and fiscal policy and assesses how they affect investment, innovation and global competitiveness in the cloud computing industry. |
