Abstract | Water quality assessment is crucial for maintaining public health and environmental sustainability. This study focuses on analyzing the changes in physical and chemical parameters of water samples collected from different surface water sources in Shujalpur, Madhya Pradesh, before and after the monsoon season. The parameters examined include pH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen (DO), total dissolved solids (TDS), hardness, alkalinity and biological oxygen demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD). The findings highlight seasonal variations in water quality and their potential impact on human consumption and agricultural use. |
Keywords | pre-monsoon, post-monsoon, concentration of ions, water quality parameters. |
