Abstract | This study investigates the role of personalized follow-up strategies in boosting lead conversion rates in the automobile industry. Using a sample of 251 predominantly young, vehicle buyers, the research examines the effectiveness of various communication channels and personalization techniques in enhancing customer trust and retention. Statistical analysis reveals a significant positive correlation between personalized offers and increased dealership trust (Spearman's ρ=0.223, p<.001), as well as a significant predictive relationship between quick response times and customer interest retention (β=0.221, p<.001). Findings indicate strong preferences for phone calls (88.9% approval), WhatsApp messaging (79.7%), and cross-channel consistency (74.9%). Model-specific offers and personalized financing options demonstrate particular effectiveness, especially among first-time buyers. This research provides automobile dealerships with actionable insights to optimize their follow-up strategies through multi-channel approaches, rapid response systems, and tailored communications that address customers' specific vehicle interests and financial circumstances. |
