Abstract | This paper proposes a system that uses autonomous micro-agents to address shrinkage prevention in perishable goods throughout the supply chain. The system integrates IoT-powered agents capable of real-time monitoring, evaluation, and situation control to prevent losses from spoilage, theft, mishandling, and environmental changes. The architecture combines edge computing, blockchain, and machine learning to model spoilage patterns and coordinate micro-agent activities across the supply chain from farming to retail. Through simulations and live implementations, the system demonstrated significant improvements in reducing spoilage rates from 30% to 12%, decreasing response times to 6.7% of baseline, and increasing data accuracy to 96%. The work presents an intelligent and adaptable framework for smart logistics, environmental sustainability, and cost-effective supply chain management of perishable goods. |
