Abstract The rapid proliferation of digital technologies has significantly expanded the attack surface for cyber threats, rendering traditional security measures increasingly inadequate. This paper explores the integration of intelligent systems, specifically artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques, in cybersecurity. It examines how these advanced technologies enhance threat detection, automate response mechanisms, and mitigate evolving cyber risks in real-time. The study discusses various AI methodologies, including deep learning, neural networks, and anomaly detection models, and evaluates their effectiveness in identifying and responding to cyber threats. Additionally, the paper addresses challenges such as adversarial attacks, model interpretability, and the need for robust regulatory frameworks. The research underscores the transformative potential of AI-driven cybersecurity solutions in safeguarding digital ecosystems.
