Abstract | Indian festivals are an integral part of the country's rich cultural heritage, reflecting its diversity and traditions. The Khasi community, an indigenous tribe in Meghalaya, has a unique cultural identity shaped by their history, mythology and environment. This article explores the significance of Indian festivals in the context of Khasi traditions, highlighting their cultural, social and spiritual importance. By examining the intersection of traditional practices and modern influences, this study aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the Khasi community's cultural heritage and its relevance in contemporary Indian society. |
