Abstract Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) originate from neuroendocrine cells, which exhibit characteristics of both neurons and hormone-producing endocrine cells.Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) are a class of medications that block the action of tyrosine kinases, enzymes responsible for cell growth and division. In some neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), these pathways are dysregulated, leading to uncontrolled tumor growth. TKIs have shown promise in treating certain NETs, particularly those that are advanced or have metastasized
