Abstract	In the evolving urban living landscape, on-demand services have become an integral part of daily life. Ranging from food delivery and health consultations to home cleaning and repair services, these platforms have experienced substantial growth, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. The accelerated digitalization in India since 2016 has significantly contributed to this expansion, enhancing both the accessibility and efficiency of such services. This study examines the impact of on-demand services on consumer behavior in Indian cities, their role in employment generation, and their broader contribution to the digital economy. It also underscores the pivotal role of technological advancements in enabling and sustaining this transformation.
