Abstract | Social media has become an integral part of daily life, influencing communication, information dissemination, and social interaction. While it provides numerous benefits such as enhanced connectivity, education, and social support, it also presents significant challenges, including mental health concerns, misinformation, and cyberbullying. This paper explores both the positive and negative effects of social media on society, drawing on academic studies, statistics, and expert opinions. The findings highlight the need for balanced usage and regulation to maximize benefits while mitigating harms. |
