Abstract	This study explores the critical role of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) in industrial operations, emphasizing its impact on environmental protection, occupational health, and regulatory compliance. It examines the environmental and health risks associated with industrial activities, supported by case studies on pollution and workplace accidents. The research evaluates EHS management systems (EHSMS), including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, highlighting best practices, audits, and the importance of compliance. The role of emerging technologies—such as automation and AI—in enhancing EHS performance is also discussed. Despite advancements, challenges like organizational resistance, financial limitations, and cultural barriers persist. The study concludes with recommendations to strengthen EHS practices and offers insights into future trends shaping industrial safety and sustainability.
