Abstract | In the modern society, mental health has become a crucial component of overall well being. Even while mental health has become more widely recognized in recent decades, conversations about it sometimes ignore the ways in which cultural, spiritual, and religious viewpoints affect mental health. Every society has a different impact on its citizens , and this behavior has a major role in forming the mental well being of the people who are subjected to these conditions. This essay investigates the importance of mental health in the context of Islam, looking at both the cultural customs and theological teachings that support psychological health. With more than 1.8 billion adherents worldwide, Islam places a high value on people's mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Islam promotes a comprehensive approach to mental health that strikes a balance between the social, spiritual, emotional, and physical facets of life through a combination of Islamic therapeutic practices, the teachings of the Quran, and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). |
