Abstract | In digital environments, recommendation algorithms reinforce depressive content loops among emotionally vulnerable youth. This research introduces "Reverse Mood Methodologies," a conceptual framework embedded within platform algorithms that ethically detects emotional collapse signals and redirects users toward uplifting and confidence-building content. Grounded in emotional design, trauma-informed computing, and culturally adaptive strategies, it calls for a moral evolution in algorithmic priorities—from engagement to emotional recovery. |
