Abstract Retail banking provides financial services to the general public. Also referred to as consumer or personal banking. Retail banking is a bank executed transactions directly with consumers, rather than corporations or other banks. Retail banking services are provided both on online portals and offline branches. Online retail banking has made it easier for individual consumers to avail of home loans, personal loans, car loans, open fixed and recurring deposits, transfer money, etc.
