| Abstract | The study aimed to assess the effectiveness of a school environmental program and practices, with a view to informing the development of an environmental sustainability program for private senior high schools in District 2, Bulacan. Using standardized questionnaires, data were collected from teachers, school administrators, and learners. Analysis revealed insights into demographic profiles, waste management practices, and perceptions across different respondent groups. Results indicated variations in waste management practices, with Waste Water Management scoring lowest and Waste On-site Collection, Transport, and Storage scoring highest. Despite differences in roles and locations, perceptions on waste management did not significantly differ among respondents, except for teachers' perceptions based on educational attainment. Recommendations include targeted training programs, infrastructure improvements, tailored support for teachers, and the establishment of a monitoring system for the sustainability program. This study contributes to enhancing environmental practices and sustainability efforts in senior high schools, highlighting the importance of tailored interventions and ongoing evaluation in achieving desired outcomes. |
