Abstract | This research examines the transformation of India’s foreign policy under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Historically rooted in nonalignment, India’s external relations have undergone significant reorientation towards multialignment and assertive engagement with major global powers. This study analyzes how Hindu nationalist ideology, economic nationalism, and strategic ambitions have shaped foreign policy decisions since 2014. Drawing upon policy documents, scholarly analyses, and public discourse, the paper offers insights into the continuity and change characterizing India’s external relations in the 21st century |
