| Abstract | The rapid adoption of DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines has necessitated real-time security mechanisms capable of addressing vulnerabilities during both development and runtime. This paper investigates the integration of Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) to establish a cohesive security framework for production environments. By leveraging hybrid analysis models, Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP), and machine learning-driven anomaly detection, the study addresses challenges such as latency, false positives, and compliance. Empirical data, including benchmarks of industry tools (e.g., Snyk, Checkmarx) and a cost-benefit analysis of real-time security implementations, are provided. The paper concludes with recommendations for adopting scalable frameworks in cloud-native and edge computing environments. |
