Abstract The convergence of Big Data and cloud computing has fundamentally reshaped the landscape of data processing, analytics, and decision-making. With massive data generated from IoT, web, social media, and enterprise systems, organizations increasingly leverage cloud ecosystems to achieve scalability, cost-efficiency, and high availability. This paper presents a comprehensive study of Big Data adaptation and analytics within cloud computing environments. It evaluates the architectural foundations, key services, integration strategies, and analytics frameworks, and identifies current challenges and emerging trends. Through technical depth and empirical data, we highlight how cloud-native technologies are enabling real-time, scalable, and intelligent analytics while also grappling with complexities like governance, latency, and vendor lock-in.
