| Abstract | By advocating for comprehensive and equitable growth, the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 signifies a sea change in India's educational strategy. The incorporation of PE into the standard curriculum across all grade levels is a defining characteristic. In addition to promoting physical fitness, the policy highlights the importance of PE for students' psychological, emotional, and social growth. For the benefit of all students, especially females, children with disabilities, and members of disadvantaged communities, it promotes activity-based learning, fair participation, inclusive infrastructure, and highly qualified educators. National Exercise Program 2020 seeks to build a healthier, more active, and inclusive society by integrating physical education into school life daily and coordinating it with national wellness and health objectives. This summary emphasizes how NEP has helped to establish PE as an integral component of both inclusive education and national development |
