Women's Health Problems and Challenges in Sports and Games

Abstract Female athletes face a range of unique health challenges related to their sport, including the female athlete TRIAD (disorder eating, menstrual disfunction, and low bone density), musculoskeletal injuries like ACL tears and stress fractures, and concern about pelvic floor disfunction and urinary incontinence. Additionally, mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and body image concern are prevalent.
