Roots in Crisis: A Multifactorial Study of Emotional Negligence, Digital Addiction, and Consciousness Drift Among Indian Adolescents

Author(s) Mr. Chinthada Divakar
Country India
Abstract This study investigates the emotional collapse among Indian adolescents aged 10 to 18, driven by digital addiction, societal negligence, peer influence, and systemic disregard for ethical grooming. Using a qualitative narrative design, the research analyses behavioural logs, family interviews, and media incidents. Findings reveal six thematic drivers of collapse, ranging from identity fragmentation to misinformation anxiety. The study proposes emotional literacy reforms, inclusive student platforms, and parental engagement protocols to restore clarity and resilience.
