The Correlation Between Students' Academic Workload and Mental Wellness at Bjemina Primary School

Author(s) Mr. Ugyen, Ms. Karma
Country Bhutan
Abstract The research examines how students' academic workloads affect mental wellness at Bjemina Primary School through survey questionnaires as the exclusive data collection method. Researchers investigated how homework demands impact students' academic burnout rates. The research results showed that homework volume does not significantly correlate with academic burnout levels. The study revealed that students' homework management skills depend on individual characteristics such as time management ability, personal resilience, and stress tolerance capacity. These findings show the importance of recognising different coping strategies that students use in their classroom settings. The study suggests that researchers should investigate these personal factors more thoroughly to gain full insight into the roots of academic burnout and develop methods to assist student welfare.
