Abstract The transition period of higher secondary education is a critical phase in students’ lives, where academic experiences significantly influence their future career choices. This research aims to examine the influence of educational adjustment on occupational aspiration among higher secondary students, with particular emphasis on understanding the nature of their relationship and exploring gender-based differences. Educational adjustment refers to the process by which students adapt to academic pressures, institutional norms, teacher expectations, and peer dynamics. Occupational aspiration, on the other hand, denotes the level and type of career goals for students based on their interests, values, and perceived capabilities. The study adopted a quantitative research design, utilizing standardized psychometric tools to assess both educational adjustment and occupational aspiration among a representative sample of higher secondary students. Statistical techniques such as correlation analysis and independent samples t-tests were employed to analyze the data.
