Abstract | his study evaluated the antifungal activity of aqueous and methanol extracts from five plants—Ricinus communis, Xanthium strumarium, Acacia nilotica, Ficus racemosa, and Tridax procumbens—against Aspergillus niger, Stemphylium vesicarium, and Alternaria porri, pathogens affecting onion crops. Using the food poisoning technique, all extracts inhibited fungal growth, with higher concentrations showing greater effectiveness. R. communis extract was the most potent, suggesting its strong potential as a natural fungicide. |
