A Case Report on COVID-19 induced Acute Pancreatitis

Abstract COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by SARS-COV2 which usually presents with mild to severe acute respiratory distress syndrome. Although it involves mainly the respiratory system, extrapulmonary involvement such as gastrointestinal manifestations are also reported [1]. We report a case of a 15-year-old boy diagnosed with COVID 19 who developed acute pancreatitis, who doesn't have any prior history of pancreatitis or any known risks.
