| Abstract | The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed library services, especially in central university libraries where e-resources have become essential for academic research. This study aims to evaluate the utilization patterns of electronic resources (e-resources) and associated services by research scholars and faculty members in central universities. Using a descriptive research design, data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed among a representative sample of academic users. The study investigates the types of e-resources accessed, frequency and purpose of usage, user awareness, accessibility, and challenges faced. Analysis reveals that while e-journals and databases are the most frequently used resources, awareness of certain digital services remains limited. Faculty members tend to use e-resources more extensively than research scholars, although both groups encounter issues such as slow internet connectivity and lack of training. The findings emphasize the need for libraries to enhance infrastructure, conduct user awareness programs, and provide customized training to maximize the benefits of e-resources. This research contributes to understanding usage behaviors in central university libraries and offers practical recommendations for improving digital resource management and service delivery. |
