| Abstract | Synchronous double tumours are defined as tumours of two different origin or histopathological features that occur within a time period of 6 months. Here we are presenting a case of synchronous tumour involving gall bladder as biliary type adenocarcinoma and liver as hepatocellular carcinoma, moderately differentiated, diagnosed on the basis of HPE and IHC. Till now reported cases of synchronous tumours involving liver and gall bladder were only 11 cases. Diagnosis of synchronous double tumours is very difficult because of lack of efficient radiological findings that could differentiate primary tumour from metastatic tumour. After biopsy we could go for proper IHC panel, to diagnose synchronous tumours. |
