| Abstract | The purpose of this study was to determine how beliefs about the effects of smoking are related to alcohol use among students on a university campus. An online survey with a sample of 100 students between the ages of 18 and 28 years old completed the CAGE questionnaire (for alcohol use) and Smoking Consequences Questionnaire (SCQ) as well as a demographic data sheet. Participants’ mean age was 22.04 years old and the participants were relatively evenly gendered, with a range of socioeconomic backgrounds. |
