Abstract | This research article examines the economic dynamics of milk production in Erode District, Tamil Nadu, focusing on the interplay of demand, supply, and cost factors that affect dairy farmers. Using primary and secondary data, the study analyzes consumption patterns, production costs, supply chain inefficiencies, and market trends. The findings highlight the challenges faced by farmers, including rising input costs, exploitation by middlemen, and supply-demand imbalances, while proposing strategies to enhance economic sustainability in the dairy sector. |
