Abstract This study explores teacher adjustment among government and private secondary school teachers in Prayagraj, focusing on gender differences. Using a descriptive survey and Dr. S.K. Mangal’s Teacher Adjustment Inventory, findings revealed no significant gender difference in government schools, but a significant difference in private school teachers' adjustment.
