Government Schemes and Rural Women Inclusion: Present Scenario

Abstract The present study examines the role of various government schemes in promoting the social and economic empowerment of women, specifically in rural and semi-urban areas. The Indian government has introduced several flagship programs to enhance the lives of women by improving access to employment, housing, financial resources, and self-sufficiency. This research explores the impact of these schemes and evaluates their effectiveness in uplifting women’s socio-economic status.
