Abstract The automobile industry in Maharashtra plays a crucial role in the Indian economy, employing a diverse workforce across various job positions and levels. Salary calculations, incentives, promotions, and bonuses are essential aspects that contribute to employee satisfaction, motivation, and overall organizational performance. This research explores the methods employed by automobile companies in Maharashtra to determine salaries, provide incentives, offer promotions, and grant bonuses to their employees. Through a comprehensive analysis of data from multiple companies, this study aims to shed light on the relationships between these factors and employee satisfaction. The findings suggest a clear alignment between performance-based compensation systems and higher employee satisfaction, with transparent promotion policies contributing to improved morale. The study also highlights the need for companies to adopt more consistent and transparent salary and incentive structures to enhance employee retention and motivation.
