Is Our Planet (The Earth ) Spinning Strictly About Its Axis of Symmetry ...???

Author(s) Taraknath Jana
Country India
Abstract Truly speaking, our planet has two spins at a time; one about its axis of symmetry passing through its geo-center & another about an axis passing through barycenter. The geocentric period is once in a day & the barycentric period is once in about 27 days. “But a rigid body spins around two axes simultaneously.”- is absurd impossible. So whatever we observe as usual is the resultant of those two effects i.e. two effects single out to one. As a result the Earth is not spinning exactly about its axis of symmetry, it is spinning about an axis little bit shifted toward the Moon. This is the reason behind the occurrence of the rear tide.
Keywords Geo-center, Barycenter, Fore tide, Rear tide, Spin.
