Abstract This study examined the relationship between creativity and teacher effectiveness among secondary school teachers in the Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Using a correlational design, data were collected from 120 teachers through standardized tools - the Teacher Effectiveness Scale (Kulsum, 2017) and the Creative Dimensions Assessment Battery (Rao, 2016). Pearson’s correlation analysis revealed a moderate, positive, and statistically significant relationship between creativity and teacher effectiveness (r = 0.420, p < 0.01). Simple linear regression analysis indicated that creativity significantly predicted teacher effectiveness, explaining 17% of its variance. These findings affirm that creative teachers tend to demonstrate higher levels of instructional quality, classroom management, and student engagement. The results align with prior research emphasizing creativity’s role in fostering innovative teaching practices and enhancing learning outcomes. The study underscores the importance of integrating creativity development into teacher education programs and policy frameworks to improve educational quality.
