Abstract Financial resilience drastically affects small-scale farm owners, irregular market prices, and unpredictable weather. Becoming financially ready allows people and communities to recover immediately from current expenses and reduce the entire load on governmental and aid resources, increasing resilience and
stability. This research sought to determine the factors that affect exploring the determinants of financial resilience among selected barangays small-scale farm owners in Digos City, Davao Del Sur, and to create a factor structure for explaining these influences. The researchers employed an exploratory factor analysis technique to determine factors that affect financial resilience. A detailed interview (IDI) was conducted to create a preliminary scale, which was later followed by quantitative data gathering and analysis through Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). Understanding these factors is necessary to establish what contributes to financial resilience. The study identified that small-scale farm owners' financial resilience is affected by 5 significant components:proactive risk management, strategic budgeting, household-farm liquidity, crisis preparedness, and savings and record-keeping. Hence, the research indicated that financial education, credit access, income diversification, and neighborhood support at the barangay level are essential in boosting resilience.
