Abstract Abstract
Peri-implantitis, a biologic complication compromising implant success, was diagnosed in a 22-year-old female following immediate mandibular anterior implant placement. Clinical and radiographic evaluation revealed significant peri-implant bone loss. Initial non-surgical therapy was followed by guided bone regeneration using demineralized freeze-dried bone allograft and a collagen membrane. Healing progressed uneventfully, with substantial bone regeneration noted at six months. After second-stage surgery and prosthesis placement, 12-month follow-up confirmed complete bone fill and implant stability. This case underscores the efficacy of regenerative therapy and the importance of early intervention and maintenance.
