Abstract Unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly referred to as drones, as the name suggests can be operated without human presence on board. UAV commonalities are growing rapidly in today’s world as their practicality in solving real-world issues is beyond beneficial in terms of efficiency and sustainability. This paper will go into depth about the practical aspects, applications, open challenges, security threats and future scope in drone technology.
