Assessment of Investment Behavior Preferences and Performance of Un-Aided College Teachers

Abstract Investment behavior is a crucial aspect of financial decision-making, particularly amongprofessionals like un-aided college teachers who face financial uncertainties due to the lack ofjob security and benefits. This study aims to assess the investment behavior, preferences, andfinancial performance of un-aided college teachers. The research analyzes factors influencingtheir investment choices, including risk perception, financial literacy, income levels, and long-term financial goals. The study employs both primary and secondary data sources, utilizingsurveys and statistical tools to evaluate investment patterns. Findings reveal the predominantinvestment instruments chosen by teachers, their risk tolerance levels, and the extent of theirfinancial planning. The study further highlights the challenges they face in wealth accumulationand suggests strategies for improving financial awareness and stability. The results contribute tounderstanding the financial behavior of this segment and provide insights for policymakers andfinancial advisors to design tailored investment solutions.
