| Abstract | In this protocol we investigate a feasible study concerning synthesis of 9-(2-Chlorophenyl)-3,3,7,7-tetramethyl-10-phenyl 3,4,4a 7,8,9a,10-octahydroacridine-1,5(2H,6H)-dione derivatives. Synthesis has been done in presence of DABCO as catalyst and glycerol as solvent. Presence of DABCO induced a remarkable acceleration to the three component sequential reaction between aldehyde, dimedone and aniline. Consequently, these types of protocol could be considered eco-friendly and derivatives are synthesised from good to excellent yield |
