Abstract Client relationship management (CRM) plays a pivotal role in the success of automotive businesses, where intense competition and customer loyalty are key differentiators. This study examines the strategies employed by leading automotive firms to establish, cultivate, and maintain long-term client relationships. Through an in-depth case study analysis, the research evaluates companies recognised for their superior CRM practices, identifying the operational, technological, and interpersonal approaches that contribute to their success. Data was collected via qualitative methods, including executive interviews, customer surveys, and analysis of industry reports, to uncover best practices and emerging trends. The findings reveal that personalised customer engagement, data-driven decision-making, and post-sale relationship-building are critical components of effective CRM in the automotive sector. Additionally, the study highlights the growing influence of digital tools, such as AI-driven analytics and omnichannel communication platforms, in enhancing client interactions. By synthesising these insights, the research provides actionable recommendations for automotive firms seeking to strengthen customer retention, improve satisfaction, and gain a competitive advantage. This study contributes to both academic discourse and industry practice by bridging theoretical CRM frameworks with real-world applications in the dynamic automotive market.
