| Abstract | “Sri Aurobindo’s Vision of Supermind: The Key to Individual and Collective Transformation” Abstract: One of the main contributors to India's intellectual and spiritual revival in the late 19th and early 20th centuries is regarded as Aurobindo Ghosh. During British colonial control, his ideas, creations, and deeds helped to change India's political, cultural, and spiritual identity. In order to develop a new, comprehensive vision for India that could aid in a worldwide spiritual revolution, where the country's innate spiritual potential would serve as the impetus for advancement, Sri Aurobindo's concept of "Renaissance in India" refers to a resurgence of Indian culture and spirituality. He emphasized the rediscovery of ancient wisdom and its integration with contemporary thought. We shall talk about Aurobindo's role in India's spiritual renaissance in this paper. “Integral Yoga”, a novel approach that sought to achieve a harmonious synthesis of the body, mind, and soul, is his principal contribution to Indian thinking. In addition to personal change, Sri Aurobindo envisioned a spiritual and cultural revival for both India and the rest of the world. His writings focused on the possibility of human evolution to higher states of awareness and the recognition of divinity within oneself. The Aurobindo series of essays turns to look at the Indian Civilization. He has a unique ability about Indian culture with a well informed understanding and actual experience of it. Aurobindo's "renaissance" wasn't limited to a revival of India's national spirit but extended to a deeper, spiritual awakening that aimed at the evolution of humanity as a whole. His vision continues to inspire millions, both in India and abroad, through his teachings on spiritual growth and human potential. |
