A comparative study on stress and sleep quality among college students

Abstract The study explores stress and sleep quality among college students. Through a comprehensive analysis, the research aims to identify key factors influencing stress and sleep quality among college students. This study employed a quantitative methodology using 100 samples which consists of 50 male college students and 50 female college students. The data of this study was collected by using scales of Perceived Stress Scale (PSS; cohen; 1994) and Sleep Quality Scale (SQS-shahid et.al;2012). The major findings of the study include that there is a positive relationship between stress and sleep quality. It also found that male and female college students show no significant difference in stress. But male and female college students show significant difference in sleep quality.
