Comparative Analysis Of Guidance Needs Among Science And Arts Adolescents In Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas Of Himachal Pradesh

Abstract	The present study investigates the guidance needs of adolescents studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas of Himachal Pradesh, with a focus on comparing the needs of science and arts students. This research aims to identify the differences in guidance needs between these two groups science and Arts, and explore the areas where they require support. The students studying in jawahar navodaya vidyalya kunihar, theog and kothipura of Himachal Pradesh were selected for the study. Data was collected with the help of Guidance Need Inventory developed by Dr. J.S. Grewal. Statistical techniques of mean, sd and t-test were employed to data analysis. The finding of the study reported that science and arts background adolescents studying in jawahar navodaya vidyalayas in Himachal Pradesh do not differ significantly in respect to guidance needs.
