| Abstract | This study examines the academic performance of Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BSPT) students at General Santos Doctors’ Medical School Foundation, Inc., with a focus on professional subjects from 2019 to 2024. Utilizing a comprehensive assessment of 28 student grades at Levels 3 and 4, the research reveals that most BSPT students received high ratings, with the majority of professional subjects categorized as "very good." In Levels 1 and 2, 11 subjects were deemed "very good," 4 "good," and 1 "satisfactory." Level 3 results indicated 5 subjects at a "very good" rating, 11 "good," and 1 "satisfactory." However, significant performance disparities were identified, particularly within 4 subjects in Level 2 and 7 subjects in Level 3, warranting attention for improvement. The findings also noted a range of consistency in student performance, with both Levels 1 and 2 displaying 12 subjects that showed no significant differences, while Level 3 revealed 8 subjects without significant variation and 7 with identified differences. These insights call for a thorough evaluation of the curriculum and instructional methodologies to enhance the delivery and implementation of professional subjects, ultimately aiming to elevate the overall academic outcomes of BSPT students and ensure they meet the standards of professional practice. |
